Simon Scott founded Tribe in 1995. Our first home was the Corn Exchange. We reopened on Kirkgate in 2017, bringing the record shop back after a four-year break.
Tribe has always been a meeting point for people who care about music. Local labels, independent artists, club DJs and first-time record buyers are all part of our story.
